16px;\">白骨顶鸡分布于中国东北、西北、华北、华南、华东、西南等地区，欧洲、非洲北部、东南亚及澳大利亚等地区也有分布。白骨顶鸡栖息于有水生植物的大面积静水或近海的水域。白骨顶鸡善游泳，游泳时尾部下垂，头前后摆动，遇有敌害能较长时间潜水。白骨顶鸡为杂食性动物，但主要以植物为食，以水生植物的嫩芽、叶、根、茎为主，也吃昆虫、蠕虫、软体动物等。白骨顶鸡是具有重要生态、科学、社会价值的野生动物。白骨顶鸡肉味鲜美，可供食用，因其觅食大量水草及其草籽，在控制水草、减缓生物填平中也起到一定的生态作用。此外，白骨顶鸡易饲养、易管理，可养于动物园中供游人观赏。</span></p></section></section></section><p><br></p><section
